A college football player was recently arrested by Iowa City police after being stopped by officers and exhibiting signs of intoxication on Valentine’s Day. According to reports, Omar Truitt was driving a vehicle on the evening of February 14 when police stopped him at 12:38 a.m. at the intersection of Linn Street and Iowa Avenue.

Due to unpleasant weather, Truitt was brought to the Iowa City Police Department to have his blood alcohol content checked.
