Drunk driver busted in Iowa for endangering a child

A man in Iowa faced several charges after authorities found out that he was driving under the influence of alcohol while a child was inside the vehicle, an article on KCCI News stated November 24.

According to reports, Rockwell Police arrested 22-year-old Benito Hernandez on November 22. Authorities were notified that Hernandez was driving recklessly in Cerro Gordo County. In addition to the drunken driving charges, authorities also filed an additional child endangerment charge against Hernandez because a 3-year-old was also inside the vehicle unrestrained.
