Squad car injures bicyclist in Davenport

A bicyclist in Davenport was hospitalized after an unmarked squad car struck him, kwqc.com stated on Tuesday, September 30.

According to reports, the incident happened on September 29 at the corner of Main and 5th Streets. A male bicyclist was reportedly heading north when he was struck by an eastbound Davenport Police vehicle. The bicyclist, whose name was withheld, suffered injuries after he was knocked to the ground. The officer has also not been named by authorities. Another Davenport police car hit a woman in a wheelchair as she was crossing the street earlier the same day.
