West Des Moines head-on crash injures 2

A head-on car crash caused two people to be injured in West Des Moines, on the morning of March 5, according to West Des Moines police .

Lt. James Barrett of the West Des Moines police said the accident happened in the 2800 block of E.P. True around 8 a.m. West Des Moines Fire Department members had to remove one of the injured drivers from his vehicle as he was stuck inside the damaged vehicle. The two drivers whose names and conditions were withheld following the accident were both rushed to the hospital for injuries they sustained.

Investigations were still ongoing as of press time and the cause of the head-on crash was still unknown as there were no witnesses to the crash and the police were unable to question the drivers.
