6 Iowa teens hurt in car accident
A two-vehicle accident sent six Iowa teenagers to the hospital on Saturday afternoon.
Around 1 p.m. in Schaller, a 15-year-old driver with a learner’s permit was traveling on a gravel road when the large amount of dust in the air caused her to cross onto the other side of the road, striking an oncoming vehicle. That oncoming vehicle was being driven by a 16-year-old driver.
There were four passengers in the 15-year-old’s vehicle, and every one of them sustained injuries in the accident.
The car of the driver responsible for the head-on collision had $3,000 worth of damage, and the other vehicle had $12,000 worth of damage from the accident.
