Two-car crash on Highway 59 leaves four people injured
A two-car crash on Highway 59 resulted in the injury of four people.
According to police officials, the accident occurred as a family was traveling southbound down Highway 59 when another vehicle attempted to make a left turn in front of them, but the two cars collided.
The 70-year-old driver of the second car was injured along with three in the family’s car. Three of the passengers were transported to Myrtue Memorial Hospital to be treated. A 16-year-old passenger in the family’s car was transported to Creighton Medical Center by medical helicopter. News on their current condition has not been released at this time.
