A bus accident in Clayton County caused 23 students to be sent to the hospital as they were traveling to school at 8 a.m.
The superintendent of the MFL MarMac school district arrived at the scene right after the accident occurred. He decided that 23 students should go to the hospital even though they were not seriously injured.
The bus driver was also sent to the hospital. There was patchy fog at the time of the accident, but Iowa State Patrol continue to investigate in order to find the exact cause.
