A bicyclist was transported to the hospital after a bicycle accident in Des Moines.

The crash occurred on East Euclid Avenue after the car collided with the bicyclist causing him to hit the windshield. Immediately after the collision, the cyclist was not moving but as he was transported to the hospital he was awake and breathing. The cyclist was suffering from severe leg injuries. A full investigation into the accident is underway.
